Transformation Professional Development & Mentoring Program (for Colleges and Universities)

Purpose: Professional Development and Mentoring Program will provide education consulting services for colleges and universities and their students struggling with college retention issues by developing and implementing training programs that will train volunteer mentors of undergraduate college students with the goal of better equipping mentors to help students succeed, remain in college, and graduate.

How: The Gateways to Success Mentoring Project will implement volunteer mentor training modules to consist of 3-Day workshops, seminars, and onsite professional development programs at colleges, universities, and community colleges.

What: The Gateways to Success Mentoring Project will assist with the recruitment of adult volunteers through collaborative campus efforts with staff and administration, administer surveys soliciting feedback from students and volunteers participating in the mentoring project, collect and analyze data, provide summary reports, assess the impact of the mentoring program, and make recommendations for continued improvements.
