The Gateways to Success Mentoring Project is the education component that addresses the educational, socio-economic, and developmental needs of students in secondary and post-secondary institutions of learning by providing academic tutoring, social support, mentoring, and learning opportunities designed to help them successfully attain their academic goals.
The training is available for:
- Students enrolled in a high school or those who may have dropped out of school but wish to improve their skills and reside in the Maryland Metro vicinity.
- Students under the age of 18 years of age will need to obtain parental consent and submit a completed, signed consent form.
- Parents of high school students
- City and county schools within the Maryland Metro vicinity.
- After school programs are run by recreation centers, churches, and libraries.
- Individual and group sessions
- Institutions of Higher Learning
- Doctoral Students or Doctoral Candidates
- College Students
